NYSC HAS NOT BEEN SCRAPPED

Following the delay in mobilizing the 2016 Batch A stream 2 corpers to their various camps across Nigeria, the social media has been awash with insinuations that the Federal government is considering to or has already scraped the NYSC scheme.
But a clarification has come from the presidency.

A statement credited to Garba Shehu, SSA to the President on Media & Publicity, said

"NYSC is a creation of the law.

Only another law can repeal it."
